Drishti AI is an eye screening platform, an arm of BioScan AI Innovative Solutions Pvt Ltd, designed to save people from life threatening ailments that manifest themselves early on in the eyes. Serious health conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetic retinopathy/ macular edema, glaucoma and other systemic disease can be detected non-invasively by taking photographs of the back of the eye (retina) and using our artificial Intelligence analytics software. This improves patient outcomes by early diagnosis, treatment and eventually better quality of life. Our Vision
We recognise that India has been facing a shortage of ophthalmologists, especially in rural and remote areas. According to a study published in the “Indian Journal of Ophthalmology” The ophthalmologist to population ratio in India was estimated to be approximately 1:74,000, which is lower than the World Health Organization’s recommended ratio of 1:20,000. We believe that everyone deserves early and non-invasive eye screening leading to timely medical treatment.
